OUR IMPERFECT TASTINGS

A new project is born within the Divora family.

Having met an ambitious man during my recent 6 months in Italy (September 2020 to March 2021), was an unexpected twist. I came back home to Rome to reconnect with friends and family, and to continue to create new connections for my delicious culinary tours for when the world opens back up and you will be joining me, but am returning to the USA with all of that AND a partner, Alex.

Alex works in the restaurant and tourism world, and is studying to become a full fledged sommelier. His passion for wine and food is wonderful, and is inspiring to me too, as he is also teaching me things I didn’t think I needed to know. Opening up my eyes to the intricate world of wine (especially the myriad Italian wines) has been fun! Together, we look forward to offer this knowledge to you when you join us in Italy and Romania, and when you happen to be in Rome on your own, without me (Alex lives in Rome and he will welcome you with open arms in place of me, when I am not around…).

To start, we will periodically post Italian wine reviews here on the blog, to show you how much of a bounty we have. We hope you’ll enjoy!
