PUGLIA is in the “heel” of the boot, in the south of Italy.
It is a region surrounded by the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, across the water from Greece. Warm temperatures, arid air and absolutely beautiful landscapes and architecture, completely unlike anywhere else in Italy. The cuisine is a mix of fresh fruits and garden grown vegetables paired with light ingredients with plenty of olive oil from Puglia’s famous thousand+ year old olive trees.
The main ancient farmhouses in Puglia are called Masserie and are stunning works of art. Once farmhouses, most have been converted to residences (maintaining the farmland and agriculture productions, of course). The famous Trulli are the typical structures in certain villages in Puglia, plastered in white with cone-shaped pointy stone roofs.
One of my most favorite regions of Italy and still completely underrated and off-the-beaten-path to most tourism. This is the time to visit! Join me!

PUGLIA is an incredibly unique region of Italy. During our one week together, we will call an ancient farmhouse our home (the orange star in the map). This is an area filled with the most ancient of Olive Trees, and right in the middle of lots of idillic white washed villages Puglia is known for. If you choose your own accommodation, I will make sure to narrow down the area where you should stay so we are all close together. From there, we will visit villages, sites, the coast during our day trips (purple marks on the map, and many others), while enjoying local cuisine and wines. A cooking class will show us how traditional dishes are made, while our Sommelier will inspire us with tastings of local wines. There will be plenty of free time for you to enjoy sites on your own as well, of course. Meet me in the Bari airport where we will be whisked away in a private van to our farmhouse 1 hour away, and let’s play!

Rough itinerary to give you a better idea:
Day 1:
Land in Bari or Brindisi (depending on where our Puglia experience will be nearest, ride together to our farmhouse, check in, unpack and meet for dinner. This day is for us to unwind and settle into our home away from home. We will share a glass of vino and run through the week’s plans, but we’ll call it an early night after dinner, so we may be rested for Day 2 and beyond!
Day 1 to 7:
Experience some of the most iconic locations in Puglia (and Matera village as well)
Among the locations we will explore:
Alberobello + Polignano Al Mare + Ostuni (among other iconic villages)
Beach/coast + cheese making class + olive oil workshop/tastings + cooking class,
Matera (the cultural center of the world and UNESCO World heritage site),
and much more!
The complete itinerary will be sent to my travelers in detail, of course
Day 7:
Check out of farmhouse and ride to the airport together to say our goodbyes :(
