• Everyone lands in Genova’s airport today (code name GOA)

• Our private drivers drive us to our hotel in Portofino area (~1 hour drive)

• Check into the hotel, unpack and unwind

• 6:00pm: Meet for our welcome aperitivo and meet & greet

• 8:00pm: Dinner

August 27

• Enjoy your breakfast

• 10:30am: Your guide and driver will meet us at your hotel lobby

• 11:00am - 5:00pm: Board our boat with skipper for a gorgeous day on the water with drinks and lunch included

• 5:00pm: Return to hotel to rest and relax

• 8:00pm: Dinner

August 28

• Enjoy your breakfast

• 11:00am: Driver will meet us in hotel lobby to take us to Portofino for some free time for all (walk an enjoy the sites, shop high end stores and small boutiques, anything you’d like)

• 1:30pm: Lunch in Portofino

• Return to the hotel to rest and relax, or you may choose to remain in Portofino for more time (our drivers will remain available for your ride back to the hotel)

• 6:30pm: Happy hour

• 8:00pm: Dinner

• 10:00am: Check out of our hotel in Portofino

• Pick up by private drivers for transport from Portofino to Monterosso Al Mare (the first of our Cinque Terre villages) (~1 hour and 20 minute drive)

• 10:00am: Check out of our hotel in Portofino

• Pick up by private drivers for transport from Portofino to Monterosso Al Mare (the first of our Cinque Terre villages) (~1 hour and 20 minute drive)

• 10:30am: Stop in Ravello to enjoy the views and a cappuccino and pastries

• 1pm: Arrive in Monterosso al Mare, check into our lodgings (if early check in is not available, we will store our luggage in the hotel and will enjoy lunch)

• 1:30pm: Lunch

• 3:00pm: Check into (or return to) our lodgings, unpack, rest and relax

• 6:00pm: Sunset aperitivo

• 7:30pm: Dinner in Monterosso al Mare

August 30

• Take your time waking up, enjoy Il Dolce Far Niente (“the sweetness of doing nothing” as we say here in Italy) and enjoy breakfast

• 11:00am: We embark on the iconic cliff-side train hike through vineyards and breathtaking scenery as we wind our way to the village of Vernazza inside the Cinque Terre National Park (~1 hour hike)

• 12:30pm: Lunch in Vernazza

• Roam around Vernazza as you wish

• 4:30pm: Return to our hotel in Monterosso al Mare (you may choose the local train or to hike back the same way we arrived) and enjoy the beach or the village as you wish

• 8:00pm: Dinner in Monterosso al Mare

August 31

• Enjoy breakfast and your morning. Explore Monterosso al Mare or relax on the beach

• 1:00pm: Lunch

• 2:00pm: Take the iconic train deep into Cinque Terre National Park to the village of Riomaggiore. Explore Riomaggiore as you wish

• 4:00pm: Take the train back to the village of Manarola. Explore Manarola as you wish

• 6:00pm: Happy hour

• 7:30pm: Dinner in Manarola

• 9:00pm: Return to our hotel in Monterosso al Mare via train

September 1

• 10:00am: Our drivers will transport us to Porto Venere (~1 hour 10 minute drive)

• 10:00am: Our drivers will transport us to Porto Venere (~1 hour 10 minute drive)

• 1:30pm: Arrive at our hotel in Porto Venere (check in or leave our luggage with the hotel if early check in is not available)

• 1:30pm: Lunch in Porto Venere

• 3:00pm: Check into our hotel, unpack rest and relax

• 5:00pm: Meet in the hotel lobby for a lovely walk through the village to see sites and views

• 6:30pm: Happy Hour

• 8:00pm: Dinner

September 2

• Enjoy your breakfast and enjoy your open morning in Porto Venere

• 12:30pm: Meet at the local dock to board a small ferry boat to take us to a small island in the bay for lunch in a fisherman’s establishment

• 3:30pm: Board the small ferry to return to Porto Venere

• Free time to enjoy the village as you wish (shopping, more sightseeing, sipping on wine, beach time, anything you’d like, it is your time)

• 6:30pm: Happy Hour

• 8:00pm: Dinner

September 3

• Enjoy your breakfast

• 12:30pm: Lunch

• 6:30pm: Abundant aperitivo cocktail hour

• 8:00pm: Dinner

September 4

• Enjoy your breakfast

• 10:00am: Check out of our hotel in Porto Venere. Our driver will take us to the city of La Spezia’s central train station or airport (based on where each traveler desires to go next)
